What to do
- Start the Microsoft sign-in again from Snapattic and finish it in the browser window that opens.
- Sign in with a personal Microsoft account (Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, or MSN). Work or school Microsoft accounts are not supported.
- Accept every permission the sign-in asks for. If a permission is declined, the connection cannot be completed.
- If your connection was interrupted, check it and start the sign-in again.
Good to know
- Snapattic never sees or stores your Microsoft password — the sign-in happens in Microsoft’s own browser window, and only Microsoft-issued mailbox access is kept on this Mac.
- The sign-in is verified against Microsoft’s published signing keys before it is accepted. If the verification does not pass cleanly, the sign-in is refused and you are asked to start again.
- Closing the sign-in window early simply cancels that attempt; you can retry at any time.
If it keeps failing
Sign in once directly at outlook.com to confirm the account works. If it does but Snapattic still cannot complete the sign-in, follow the guidance in Account type blocked and contact support with the error title only — never mail content, credentials, or logs.
