Could not save photos

Snapattic could not write to the folder where your photos are saved. This is usually a permissions problem, not a space problem.

What to do

  1. Make sure the Pictures folder (or your chosen destination) exists and your user account can write to it.
  2. If it is on an external drive, reconnect the drive.
  3. On macOS, grant Full Disk Access to Snapattic if the folder is protected, then resume.
  4. Click Resume to continue.

Where photos are saved

~/Pictures/Snapattic/<account>/<year>/ on macOS.

Good to know

No partial or broken files are left behind — each photo is written to a temporary file first and only moved into place once it is fully downloaded and verified, so a permission error never leaves you with a corrupt photo.
