## How Snapattic works.

1. **Connect.** Connect a supported personal mailbox.
2. **Find.** Search old messages for photo attachments.
3. **Review.** Check the photos set aside for review.
4. **Save.** Keep the originals as ordinary files.

## I only wanted one photo.

## Your photos stay on your Mac. Your inbox stays untouched.

Snapattic reads your mailbox without changing it. The search happens on your Mac, and your email and photos aren’t uploaded to Snapattic.

- **Read-only mail.** Messages are never moved, deleted or marked as read.
- **Local processing.** Photos are checked and saved on your Mac.

## A few things worth knowing.

- **Which email accounts work with Snapattic?** Personal Gmail, iCloud Mail, Outlook (personal), or Yahoo Mail accounts. Work and school Microsoft accounts are not supported.
- **How do I connect my email?** Gmail, iCloud Mail, Yahoo Mail use an app password. Personal Outlook uses Microsoft sign-in. Never use your normal email password.
- **Will Snapattic change my mail?** Snapattic reads your mailbox without changing it. It does not move, delete or mark messages as read.
- **Where do the photos go?** Snapattic saves originals as ordinary files in `Pictures/Snapattic` on your Mac.
- **What happens after the free photos?** Your first 100 photos are free to keep. The rest of that mailbox is $9 once. Another mailbox is another $9. No subscription.
- **What Mac do I need?** macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon.
